Keep Believing Even When You’re Sad
Job 1:21
“He said, ‘Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.’”
There once lived a man named Job. He was good, honest, and faithful to God. God blessed Job with great wealth, a happy family, and a healthy life.
But one day, everything changed. Job lost all his possessions, his children died, and his body was covered with painful sores. He was very sad—but even in his suffering, Job did not get angry at God. He kept trusting that God was still in control of his life.
Finally, Job said, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” That means Job continued to believe that God was good, even when his life was hard. He never gave up his faith, and because of his faithfulness, God restored Job’s life and blessed him even more than before.
Truth Junior Friends, sometimes we also experience sad things—like losing a toy, being scolded even when we didn’t do anything wrong, or being left out by friends. But let’s learn from Job. Even when we’re sad, we can still believe that God loves us.
God never leaves His children who stay faithful to Him. If we keep believing and don’t give up, God will help and restore us at the right time.
So keep believing, even when you’re sad—because God is always working for our good!
