Joseph Was Lifted Up by God
Genesis 39:2
The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master.
Truth Kids friends, have you ever felt disliked by your friends—or even by your own siblings? Sometimes people may treat us unfairly or do mean things to us. But remember: God always sees the good and faithful heart of His children.
In the Bible, Joseph experienced something like that. His father loved him very much, and that made his brothers jealous. Because of his dreams—which they thought were arrogant—Joseph was sold to strangers and taken to Egypt. Even though he was sad, Joseph still believed that God was with him.
In Egypt, Joseph became a servant. But he continued to work diligently and faithfully. When someone tried to tempt him to sin, he refused because he wanted to live rightly before God. Even though he was later accused falsely and thrown into prison, Joseph remained faithful and kept praying. And God saw his faithfulness.
One day, Pharaoh called Joseph to interpret his dreams. With God’s help, Joseph succeeded—and Pharaoh made him a ruler over all Egypt. Truth Kids friends, let’s learn from Joseph: stay faithful, honest, and obedient to God. He will surely help and lift up those who remain faithful to Him!
