Today’s devotional is titled:
Jesus Is Risen and Alive
John 20:27–28
“Then He said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here; see My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.’ Thomas said to Him, ‘My Lord and my God!’”
Do you remember the story of Thomas, Truth Junior Friends? He was one of Jesus’ disciples who doubted that Jesus had risen from the dead. But when Jesus showed him the wounds on His hands and side, Thomas saw and believed. From that moment, his faith grew strong, and he was completely sure that Jesus was truly alive!
Just like Thomas, we can also experience proof that Jesus is alive and with us every day. You can pray, read the Bible, and talk to God about anything. Believe that He will show His love and wonderful works in your life.
When you have seen and felt God’s goodness, stay faithful and firm in your faith. Ask God to help your heart keep believing and not forget Him in everything you do.
Today, say in your heart: “I want to walk with Jesus.” Because when you walk with Him, your faith will grow stronger, and your heart will always be filled with joy!
