Happy to Make Others Happy
Luke 10:33
“He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.”
Truth Junior friends, how do you feel when you receive something you really want? Hmm… surely happy, right? We feel so thankful when someone gives us something. But now let’s think from the other side, not when we receive, but when we give. Will we still feel happy when we give something to others?
We should! When we give, we can feel joy because we are making someone else happy. Just like the Samaritan in today’s story. He helped with his own hands, even though he didn’t know the person he was helping. He didn’t wait to be rich or famous to do good.
God calls us to be His hands of love. We can start today, Truth Junior friends. Let’s begin a new way of thinking, not always about ourselves, but about how we can bring joy to others. When we make others happy, we will also feel happy. And when we do it the right way, the Lord Jesus will surely be pleased too.
Don’t you want to make Jesus smile? Come on, let’s try to bring joy to His heart every day. You can do it!
