Today’s devotional is titled:
God’s Presence in Community

Matthew 18:20
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

Rehobot Youth, community is more than just hanging out, gathering, or just being together. More than that, community is a place where God is present. Jesus himself said: when we gather in His name, He is in our midst.

We often think, “I can walk alone with God.” It’s true, personal relationships are important. But God also designed us to grow together. Through community, we learn to love, forgive, strengthen each other, and guard each other’s faith.

There are times when we are weak, and that’s where community becomes our strength. Sometimes it’s not through a big sermon, but through a friend who listens, a simple prayer, or the presence of someone who cares. God often works through the people around us.

Imagine a burning ember. If one ember is separated, it will eventually go out. But if you gather them, the fire grows stronger. It’s the same with our faith. Without community, we easily grow cold. But in community, we give each other life.

So if you’re feeling distant or alone, don’t distance yourself further. Instead, draw closer to community. Because that’s where God is waiting for you.

What To Do?
• Re-engage in worship or spiritual communities.
• Find friends who can support and pray for each other.
• Attend with an open heart, not just show up.
