Today’s Devotional is titled:
God’s Love Doesn’t Depend on Our Mood
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail.” – Lamentations 3:22
People change with their moods. Today they care, tomorrow they’re distant. But God’s love isn’t like that. He doesn’t love you more when you’re being “super spiritual,” and He doesn’t pull away when you’re emotionally unstable.
His love doesn’t rise and fall like our emotional graphs. It is constant. Even when you feel unworthy, God’s love remains.
Jesus didn’t die for you because you were deserving, but because you were loved. And His love isn’t a fleeting feeling — it’s an eternal decision.
What to Do:
1. Write a letter of gratitude to God today, even if your heart doesn’t feel enthusiastic.
2. Memorize Lamentations 3:22 as a reminder that God’s love does not change.
