Hello, Truth Kids friends!
Have you ever had a favorite toy that you really loved? That’s great! But you know what’s even greater than your favorite toy? It’s God!
Today we’re learning about a king from the Bible named Josiah. Josiah became a king when he was still very young, and he loved God with all his heart. He did many good things that pleased God. Josiah was brave — he destroyed all the idols that people in Judah were worshiping because he wanted everyone to worship only the one true God.
God was very pleased with Josiah. His heart was pure and obedient, and he loved God deeply. That’s why God blessed Josiah and was with him all his life.
Truth Kids friends, we can be like Josiah too! Let’s learn to be God’s beloved children by praying often, reading and listening to Bible stories every day, and helping others with a cheerful heart.
Jesus loves it when our hearts are kind, pure, and full of love for Him!
