Today’s devotional is titled:
God Works Through Every Moment
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Rehobot Youth, our lives are full of events—some joyful, some painful, some confusing. But often we see these events as just “ordinary events,” without realizing that God is at work in them. God isn’t only present in big or spiritual moments. He also works through everyday events—the things we experience, live, and even the things we don’t plan.
Unexpected events can be God’s way of redirecting our steps. Chance encounters can be part of His plan. Even delays, rejections, or changes in direction can be God’s way of protecting and shaping us.
The problem is, we often focus on what’s happening, not on what God is doing behind the scenes.
This sensitivity arises when we begin to pause and ask, “God, what are you doing here?” When we learn to see life that way, we realize that no event is in vain. Everything can be part of God’s work shaping us.
What To Do?
• Pause in the midst of your activities to recognize God’s presence.
• Note the important moments of the day and see the patterns in how God works.
• Train your heart to remain trusting, even when you don’t understand events.
