Today’s devotional is titled:
God Works Behind the Wounds
Job 42:2
I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted..
Rehobot Youth, wounds are real. Whether from family, friends, betrayal, or situations we never chose. And honestly, in the midst of it all, we often think: “God, where are you?”
Job was there too. He lost everything, was confused, and didn’t understand why his life was falling apart. But at the end of his journey, he realized one thing: God remains sovereign. God never loses control, even when life feels chaotic.
Sometimes we think God is silent. But He is at work—behind the scenes. The wounds we experience are often where God shapes us. It makes us stronger, more sensitive, and more dependent on Him. The process is certainly not pleasant, but the results are never in vain.
God doesn’t always immediately erase wounds, but He certainly heals and restores. In God’s hands, wounds are not the end of the story—they are part of the process toward something better.
So if you are still hurting today, don’t stop believing. Because God is still working, even if you don’t see the results yet.
What To Do?
• Bring the wounds you feel into prayer today.
• Trust that God is forming something through that process.
• Hold on to one verse of Scripture as your daily encouragement.
