God Saves Us
2 Kings 19:19
“Now, Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone, Lord, are God.”
Truth Kids friends, today we’re learning from the story of King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah in 2 Kings 19:19. When a powerful enemy came to attack their city, they didn’t panic — instead, they prayed earnestly to God. They believed that God was far stronger than any enemy and that He would protect them.
God heard Hezekiah’s prayer and answered with His amazing power. The city was never taken by the enemy, and everyone saw that only the Lord deserves to be worshiped. God is the best protector for anyone who believes and puts their hope in Him.
Truth Kids friends, when you feel afraid, sad, or face a problem, remember that God also hears your prayers. He watches over you just like a shepherd cares for his sheep — with love and attention.
Let’s pray together and ask God to protect and be with us every day. Don’t be afraid, because God is always with you and will help you at just the right time!
