God Protects the Faithful
Daniel 6:23
“The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.”
Hello, Truth Junior Friends! Have you ever felt afraid to do what’s right because your friends might tease you? For example, you refuse to cheat during a test, but your friends call you “too honest”?
Daniel went through something similar. He lived in King Darius’s palace and stayed faithful to God even when a new law was made forbidding anyone to pray except to the king. But Daniel refused to stop praying! Because of that, he was thrown into a den of lions. However, God sent His angel to shut the lions’ mouths, and Daniel wasn’t hurt at all. God protected Daniel because he was brave, obedient, and trusted Him completely.
Truth Junior Friends, there are still many challenges like that today. Some people are afraid to pray because others might laugh. Some are shy to say they believe in God, or tempted to cheat just to fit in. But remember—God is pleased with children who stay faithful and do what’s right, even when it’s unpopular.
So remember this, Truth Junior Friends: God always protects those who believe and obey Him. Let’s be like Daniel—brave to be different, faithful in prayer, and loyal to God no matter what happens!
