Today’s Devotional Title:
God Is Still Writing Your Story

Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Sometimes life feels like a messy draft. Full of typos. Full of revisions. There are even parts we wish we could delete completely. Past mistakes, impulsive decisions, or situations we never chose can make us think, “My story is already ruined.”

But this verse was not spoken to people whose lives were going smoothly. Jeremiah 29:11 was given when the people of Israel were in exile—far from home, surrounded by uncertainty, and perhaps feeling like God was silent. Yet in the middle of that situation, God said: I know the plans I have. Even when they couldn’t understand the storyline, God still held the bigger plot.

God is still writing your story means failure is not the ending. Your wounds are not the title of your life. And one dark season is not the entire book. We may only see one page, but God sees the whole story—beginning, middle, and end.

If your life feels messy right now, don’t close the book too quickly. God isn’t finished yet. As long as He is holding the pen, there will always be hope on the next page.

What To Do?
1. Entrust your future to God, even when today’s direction isn’t clear.
2. Stop defining your life by past failures.
3. Remind yourself: God is not finished working in my life.
