Today’s devotional is titled:
God Is Not Finished with Your Life
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” — Genesis 50:20
Joseph experienced many painful experiences in his life. He was betrayed by his own brothers, sold into slavery, slandered, and even imprisoned despite his innocence. From a human perspective, Joseph’s life seemed full of pain and injustice.
However, Joseph did not let his pain determine his future. Amidst the difficult process, he remained confident that God was with him. His knowledge of God convinced Joseph that his life did not end with the suffering he experienced. God continues to work even when circumstances seem dire.
We often feel like the past has ruined everything. Wounds, failures, rejections, or bitter experiences cause many people to lose hope. But through Joseph’s life, we learn that God can transform a painful process into something that brings good. The living God never abandons the life He is shaping.
Rehobot Youth, life’s wounds are not the end of your story. God is still working, restoring, and preparing a good future for your life. Don’t give up on the past, because God is not finished with your life.
What to Do?
• Surrender your wounds and bitter experiences to God in prayer.
• Learn to see life’s process from God’s perspective, not just from the pain.
• Trust that God is still working and has a good plan for your life.
