Today’s devotional is titled:
God Is Just and Caring
Micah 6:8
“O people, it has been made known to you what is good. And what does the Lord require of you: nothing more than to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Have you ever wondered where God’s presence truly is in your daily life? We often hope to sense Him through grand experiences or powerful spiritual moments. Yet today’s Word of God shows that He reveals Himself tangibly through the way we live.
We can see this in the life of the prophet Micah. He lived among a people who were diligent in worship but neglected justice and compassion. God does not demand grand rituals, but rather a heart willing to live righteously, to be just toward others, faithful in love, and humble before Him. That is where God’s presence is revealed.
Jesus Himself demonstrated the same thing. He was present among the poor, defended the oppressed, and cared for those who were marginalized. God’s presence is not a distant concept, but a reality that can be felt when love and justice are expressed through our lives.
Mature faith does not stop at confession but is seen in action. When we choose honesty amid pressure, show concern when others are ignored, and remain humble even when we have reason to exalt ourselves—that is where God becomes real through us.
What To Do?
• Examine the attitude of your heart: are justice, compassion, and humility reflected in your life?
• Find one concrete action today to show God’s love to others.
• Pray that your life may become a space where God’s presence can be felt by the world.
