Today’s reflection is titled:
From Chaos to Purpose
“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”- 1 Corinthians 14:33
Have you ever felt like your family is in complete disarray? All plans aren’t going as expected, problems keep piling up, and you’re unsure where to start or what to fix. The confusion and emptiness leave us exhausted and lost.
But God isn’t just present during the calm times in our families. He also works amidst the chaos. God is able to reorder, provide direction, and transform the chaos in our families into a beautiful purpose. Our part is to keep believing, follow His guidance, and entrust every piece of our story into His hands.
So don’t be afraid if your family feels chaotic. Remember, behind every chaos, God is weaving something beautiful. Believe that from the “chaos” we experience, He can lead us to a “purpose” far greater than we could ever imagine.
What to do:
1. Reflect on which aspects of your family often make you feel tired or confused, then consider how you can view them from God’s perspective.
2. Learn to be brave enough to be honest with your parents about things that make you uncomfortable or issues that need to be discussed together.
