Today’s devotional is titled:
Falling Is Not the End of the Story
Proverbs 24:16
For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.
Rehobot Youth, failure is unpleasant. Bad grades, missed goals, or feeling inferior to others can make us think, “I don’t think I can do it.” But God’s Word says something different: righteous people also fall—even many times. The difference? They rise again.
Failing is part of the process, not a sign of total failure. God doesn’t judge you by how many times you fall, but by how willing you are to rise. In every failure, there is a lesson. In every fall, there is an opportunity to become stronger.
Maybe you fall because you lack focus, study the wrong way, or are tired. That’s human. But don’t stop there. Getting up means daring to try again, learning from your mistakes, and trusting that God is still walking with you.
Remember, failure is not your identity. You are not a “failure.” You are a person in progress. And as long as you are willing to get up, your story is not over.
What To Do?
• Honestly examine where you fell, then bring it to prayer.
• Take one small step to start again today.
• Remember: you may fall, but you can also get up.
