Today’s Devotional Title:
Faithfulness Wrapped in Commitment

“Whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much, and whoever is dishonest in very little is also dishonest in much.”
— Luke 16:10

Many of us have big dreams: becoming great leaders, successful entrepreneurs, or serving many people. But Luke 16:10 reminds us of one important truth—great responsibility is not a “lucky reward.” It is the result of faithfulness in small things. It is through small matters that we learn commitment, because often the greatest challenges are hidden in things that seem insignificant.

God pays attention to how we handle what may appear unimportant: time discipline, honesty, small responsibilities, and daily consistency. If we take small things lightly, our character will never be ready to carry greater weight. Faithfulness in small things is a character-forming process that often happens behind the scenes, far from the spotlight.

To God, those moments are proof of our true character. “Big things” may come as a bonus, but faithfulness wrapped in commitment is the main requirement. Don’t let us become so busy chasing big stages while our behind-the-scenes life is falling apart. Remember, God is not looking for the most talented people, but for those who are most trustworthy in the small things they do every day.

What To Do?
1. Get used to starting with small things without waiting for big goals or instant change.
2. Honestly evaluate yourself to better understand your life process and continue growing in God.
3. Build consistency in your life plans without waiting for strong motivation to begin good habits.
