Faithfulness May Not Be Seen Now, But It Matters Forever
“Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.” – 1 Corinthians 4:2
Being faithful in small things is hard—especially when no one notices. Praying when you’re exhausted. Serving in ways no one applauds. Helping a friend who never says thank you. Yet it’s in those hidden places that character is formed.
David didn’t become king overnight. He started as a shepherd. In the quiet fields, he learned to protect sheep from wolves and lions. No spotlight, no audience. But God saw. And because of his faithfulness in the hidden places, God entrusted him with a nation.
In a world that celebrates what’s big and fast, God is looking for those who are faithful even when unseen. Because faithfulness is the currency of the Kingdom.
What to Do:
1. Identify one “small thing” you’ve often overlooked. Start being faithful in it today.
2. Reflect: How can I be more consistent and faithful in the unseen areas of my life?
