Today’s Devotional Title:
Faith Through Chaos
Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.”
Life isn’t always as aesthetic as an Instagram feed. Sometimes it’s full of family drama, piling assignments, broken relationships, or just pure emotional exhaustion. Everything feels chaotic. But here’s the truth we need to hold onto: God is not panicking over your messy life. He’s still working—even when you can’t see where it’s going.
Look at Joseph. His life hit a season that was completely chaotic. Sold by his own brothers, falsely accused, thrown into prison for something he didn’t do. From the outside, it looked like a series of failures. But behind the scenes, God was shaping his character and preparing him for something far bigger. Chaos wasn’t the end of his story—it was part of the process.
A lot of times we focus so much on the problem that we forget God is working backstage. Yet it’s often in the most uncomfortable seasons that our faith grows the most. We learn to trust without certainty. We learn to be patient before answers come. We learn to lean on God when our own strength runs out.
So when life feels messy, don’t be quick to assume God is distant. He might be arranging something more beautiful than you can imagine. Faith grows in chaos—and God never stops working, even in the middle of the mess.
What To Do?
1. When life feels chaotic, pause and remind yourself: God is still working behind it all.
2. Find examples in the Bible (like Joseph) and reflect on how God used their chaos for good.
3. Shift your perspective—see problems not as roadblocks, but as opportunities for your faith to grow.
