Faith Overcomes Fear

John 11:27
“‘Yes, Lord,’ she replied, ‘I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.’”

Hello, Truth Junior friends!
Today we will learn from Martha, one of Jesus’ friends in the Bible. One day, Martha’s brother, Lazarus, became sick and eventually died. Of course, Martha was very sad and worried. But when Jesus came, Martha still believed in His words!

In John 11:27, Martha said, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God.” Wow, amazing, isn’t it? Even though she was grieving, Martha still trusted that Jesus is the Savior. She didn’t let fear or worry control her heart. Her faith was greater than her fear!

Truth Junior friends, sometimes we also feel afraid or worried—like when facing exams or when our parents are sick. But just like Martha, we can learn to keep trusting God. When we believe, God gives peace to our hearts. Faith makes us brave and strong, because we know that God is always with us.

Martha believed, and eventually she saw a miracle! Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Wow! That shows us, faith brings hope even in the hardest times.

So, Truth Junior friends, let’s be children with strong faith like Martha. When you feel afraid or sad, don’t forget to come to God and trust that He is able to help. Believing in Him will fill your heart with peace and joy. Keep your spirit up—Jesus can always be trusted!
