Today’s Devotional:
Even When I Cannot See

“Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.” – John 9:3 (NIV)

Have you ever thought, “Why am I like this?”, “Why am I different from everyone else?”, or “I don’t have any special talent like they do?” Sometimes we feel that our weaknesses or limitations make us useless. But the truth is God can use every part of our lives for something great.

Take the real-life story of Grezia Epiphania, a young girl from Indonesia who was born blind. At first glance, people might think her life is full of limitations. But Grezia didn’t give up. Instead, she used her voice to praise God and touch hearts through her songs. If you’ve ever heard her sing “Even When I Cannot See,” that’s the song that inspired this devotion.

Just like the man born blind in John 9, Jesus said his condition wasn’t because of anyone’s sin it was so that God’s works could be revealed through him.
In the same way, Grezia’s presence in this world isn’t a mistake; it’s a way for God to show His love and power.

So, if you ever feel small, untalented, or not good enough, remember: you are still God’s precious creation.
Sometimes we can’t see what we can give to God because our eyes are too focused on what we lack. But God doesn’t look at your appearance or abilities, He looks at your heart, your willingness to be used for His glory.

Starting today, let’s stop focusing on what we don’t have and start believing that God can use us just as we are.

What to Do:

1. Write down one thing about yourself that you used to see as a weakness.

2. Then, change your perspective think about how God can use that very thing to bless others.
