Don’t Wait for the Crowd to Take the First Step
“Do not neglect your gift…” – 1 Timothy 4:14a
Sometimes we wait for someone else to go first. To be the first to testify, the first to live rightly, the first to change. We wait for the majority to speak before daring to act. But God often calls us to be the first — not because we’re the most ready, but because we’re willing.
Joshua and Caleb were two of the twelve spies who believed in God’s promise. They stood between fear and reality. They didn’t wait for everyone else to agree — they stepped forward in faith. And because of that, only the two of them eventually entered the Promised Land.
You don’t need a crowd to confirm God’s calling. One step of faith, even if taken alone, can open the way for many.
What to Do:
Take one small step today in the area God has placed on your heart. Don’t wait for perfection or a crowd — just begin, faithfully.
