Don’t Be Afraid — God Is with You
2 Kings 6:16
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
Hi, Truth Kids friends! Today we’re learning from the story of the prophet Elisha in 2 Kings 6:16. At that time, an enemy army came to capture Elisha, and his servant was terrified. But Elisha stayed calm and said, “Don’t be afraid!” Why? Because Elisha knew that God was with them — with His mighty, invisible army from heaven.
Elisha believed that God had sent His angels to guard and protect His children. They were far greater and stronger than any enemy. That’s why Elisha could remain peaceful and unafraid, even in the face of danger.
Truth Kids friends, that same God is with you today! Whether you’re happy, sad, or scared — God is always by your side. You are never alone. When you trust in Him, you can feel safe and strong, just like Elisha.
So, when you feel afraid or worried, remember God’s promise. Pray and ask Him for strength. He will give you courage and peace.
Come on, Truth Kids friends, let’s learn to trust like Elisha and say, “I’m not afraid, because God is with me!”
