Today’s Devotional:
Do It Afraid
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified… for the LORD your God goes with you.” – (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Many of us wait until the fear is gone before we’re willing to take a step. But the truth is, that fear often won’t disappear if we keep waiting. Many times, we have to move forward while still feeling afraid. That’s what real courage is.
God knows we are human and easily frightened. He doesn’t expect us to be emotionless superheroes. But what He promises is His presence — even when we’re trembling and unsure. When God told Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land, He didn’t promise smooth roads, but His faithful presence.
Gen Z often feels the pressure to have a perfect life, a clear career path, and fast achievements. But don’t let fear stop you from walking with God. If you wait until everything feels comfortable, you might delay for too long.
What to Do?
1. Identify one thing you’ve been procrastinating on because of fear — a presentation, a relationship, a ministry, or a big decision.
2. Take one small step today and declare:
“God is with me, so I will not hold back.”
