Channeling God’s Blessings
“Let’s make a small room on the roof and put in it a bed and a table, a chair and a lamp for him. Then he can stay there whenever he comes to us.” – 2 Kings 4:10
Hi, Rehobot Youth! Many people think that to make a significant impact, one must hold an important position, possess extraordinary abilities, or have abundant resources. Yet, God often uses simple things to be a blessing to others.
This is evident in the story of the Shunammite woman. When she saw Elisha frequently passing through her area, she willingly provided a place for him to rest. She didn’t do anything spectacular; she simply used what she had to help someone else. However, through that simple act, God used her life to bring about goodness and blessing.
Sometimes we think our lives aren’t significant enough to make an impact. Yet, a genuine act of attention, assistance, or care can be a blessing to someone. God doesn’t always ask us to do great things; He often starts with our willingness to be faithful in doing small things.
Rehobot Youth, don’t wait until you are “great” to start making a difference. God can use the talents, time, attention, and opportunities you have today to bless others. When your life is led by God, your presence can have a positive impact wherever you are.
What to Do?
• Pay attention to the needs of those around you.
• Use what you have to help and bless others.
• Ask God to show you how your life can be a positive impact on the world around you.
