Today’s devotional is titled:
Bringing Hope to the Fallen
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
After God shapes our life’s purpose and character, He doesn’t want that potential to be used only for ourselves. God longs for our lives to also be a source of hope for others, especially for those who are down, weary, and have lost their spirit.
Many people around us are actually struggling in silence. Some appear strong, yet are wounded. Some smile, yet their hearts are full of pressure. The world often teaches people to focus on themselves, but God calls us to care for and be present with others. Potential guided by God will make a person not only successful but also a source of life for others.
Jesus Himself was always present for those who had fallen and been cast aside. He did not turn away from those who failed, but restored them with love. When our lives are close to God and kept in holiness, God can use our words, our attention, and even our simple presence to strengthen others who are losing hope.
Rehobot Youth, you are made for more. God doesn’t just call you to grow personally, but also to be a light to those around you. When your life is filled with God’s love, you can be the reason someone regains faith that there is still hope in their life.
What to Do?
• Learn to be sensitive to those around you who are hurting or have lost their spirit.
• Use your words and actions to encourage, not to bring others down.
• Ask God to use your life as a channel of hope for others.
