Today’s devotional is titled:
Brave Because It’s Right
Genesis 39:2
“The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master.”
In a city, there was a boy named Bima who was often teased by his friends because he chose to be honest. One day, when the teacher was not in class, some friends invited him to cheat. “Come on, no one will know!” they said. But Bima remembered his mother’s words: “God always sees.” He refused to cheat, even though his friends laughed at him again.
A few weeks later, the teacher gave Bima an award for being the most honest student. His friends finally realized that Bima’s choice was both right and brave. His honesty earned him respect.
Bima’s story reminds us of Joseph. Even though Joseph was sold by his brothers and faced many hardships, he remained faithful to God. He refused to sin, and God raised him to become a leader in Egypt.
Truth Junior Friends, temptation to do wrong often comes—especially when we feel alone. But staying faithful to God makes our lives precious in His sight.
Today, let’s choose one right action: be honest, refuse bad invitations, or obey God’s Word. That’s the sign of being brave because it’s right!
