Today’s devotional is titled:
Being a Blessing to Those Who Hurt Us

1 Samuel 17:45
David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.”

Truth Kids friends, how do you feel when someone hurts you?
Surely sad, angry, or maybe even wanting to get back at them, right?
But there was a girl named Mikayla who responded differently.

When Mikayla was 4 years old, she got stung by a bee twice.
Her body swelled up and hurt. But instead of hating bees, Mikayla grew curious about them.

She began learning about bees: what they eat, where they live, and how they survive. Mikayla discovered that bees are now endangered because their natural habitats are being destroyed.

So, Mikayla started selling lemonade in front of her house. She called it “Me and the Bees.” While selling, she also shared with people about the importance of protecting bees.

Her business kept growing, and the money she earned was used to help save the bees.

Truth Kids friends, let’s be like Mikayla!
We can be a blessing, even to those who may have hurt us.
The Lord Jesus is surely pleased when we choose to love!
