Be Thankful
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18
“Why is it that Mom’s food is always fried rice or vegetables?”
Lia complained in her heart 😒.
She saw her friends buying snacks from street vendors.
“Snacks from there must taste better,” Lia thought.
Truth Kids 😊, who sometimes likes to complain like Lia?
Complaining makes our hearts unhappy.
Lia forgot that her mom worked hard to prepare her lunch at home 💗.
Homemade food is cleaner and healthier than street food.
Street snacks aren’t always safe to eat! 🍱
When we keep complaining, our hearts become dark 😞.
But when we are thankful, our hearts shine with joy ✨.
God wants us to give thanks in everything, even in small things.
So, Truth Kids, let’s say thank you for whatever we’ve received today!
