Be Like Baymax, Not a Burden Max

Z VOTION – October 10, 2025

Hello Gen Z people! This daily reflection can be accessed through our Instagram at www.instagram.com/www.instagram.com/z_votion.id. Don’t forget to follow us!

Today’s reflection is titled:
Be Like Baymax, Not a Burden Max

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as you are doing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Baymax never forced Hiro to heal quickly. He was present, patient, and always asked, “Are you in pain?” instead of “Why aren’t you healed yet?”
In the fast-paced, high-pressure world of Gen Z, relationships often turn into burdens, high expectations, drama, and emotional demands. But God calls us to be like Baymax present as healers, not as those who add to the pain.
A relationship that is alive doesn’t mean it’s always active or noisy. Sometimes, a calm and empathetic presence is far more healing than long words. We are called to be friends who build up, not drain.
Baymax has no emotions, but he knows how to be present with love. We have the Holy Spirit, the source of true empathy. Let’s learn to be present with love that doesn’t tire.

What To Do:
1. Ask, Don’t Assume.
Send a message to your friend today: “How’s your heart?” Not “Why aren’t you sharing?” Learn to be present without judgment.
2. Be a Safe Space.
In a group or class, be the person who doesn’t spread gossip or pressure. Be like Baymax calm, supportive, and reliable.
