Today’s devotional is titled:
Be Courageous and Faithful

Esther 2:20
“But Esther had kept secret her family background and nationality just as Mordecai had told her, for she continued to follow Mordecai’s instructions as she had done when he was bringing her up.”

Who doesn’t know Esther? She was a queen who was both very brave and obedient to God. Her obedience was shown in her willingness to listen to and follow Mordecai’s instructions. She was brave enough to approach the king to ask for help and even prepared a banquet for King Ahasuerus. God saw Esther’s obedience, and through her He saved her people and made her a blessing to many.

Truth Junior friends, imagine yourself as a young king or queen. Are we already obedient to our parents and to God like Esther? Being obedient isn’t just saying, “Yes, Mom,” or “Yes, Dad,” but actually doing it—like sweeping your room, putting away your toys, organizing your books, and studying diligently.

Obedience may seem ordinary or not very exciting, but it helps us grow in the Lord. We must also remember to surrender to God and follow His ways each day, because He has a wonderful plan for everyone who obeys Him.

Like Esther, we can become a blessing to others and bring joy to God’s heart. Let’s strive to be children who obey God and our parents. God will surely help and bless us.

Truth Junior friends, let’s bring this prayer every day:
“Lord, help me to always obey You and my parents. Give me the courage to be a hero of faith. Amen.”
