Be Careful with Your Mouth
“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” – Ephesians 4:29
Truth Kids 😊, you surely know this song:
“Be careful little mouth what you say… be careful little mouth what you say… For the Father up above is looking down in love… so be careful little mouth what you say…”
That song reminds us to be careful with our words.
Our mouth can be used to eat, to breathe, and to speak.
Today, we’re learning about speaking good words.
Why should we be careful when we speak?
Because our words can make people happy, or make them sad 😢.
Sometimes people use harsh words because they think it makes them look cool.
But God doesn’t like it when we speak evil or make fun of others.
Remember this, Truth Kids 💖:
God created everyone wonderfully and uniquely.
When we mock or bully others, it means we are not respecting God’s creation.
So, starting today let’s use our mouth for good things—
speaking politely, encouraging our friends, and praising God.
