Arman’s Secret Mission
Colossians 3:23
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
Arman wasn’t the most noticeable kid in class. He wasn’t the group leader, not the competition winner, and not the one the teacher often praised. But there was one thing that made him different—he always did his tasks with enthusiasm and a smile.
One day, the school held a classroom-cleaning competition. Many kids looked for quick ways to win. But Arman kept sweeping the corners, wiping the windows, and even picking up tiny scraps of trash that were hidden. His friends asked, “Why are you working so hard?” Arman answered, “I think of this as a task from God. So I want to do it the best I can.”
In the end, even though their class didn’t win, the teacher praised Arman in front of everyone, saying, “Follow Arman’s example. He works as if he’s serving the Lord.”
Colossians 3:23 teaches us that God loves it when we do everything wholeheartedly. It’s not about whether the task is big or small, but about the love we put into it. God notices how we serve, how we study, how we help friends, or even how we wash the dishes at home.
Every small task can be a “secret mission” from God. And you, Truth Junior friends, are His agents! Do everything with a heart full of love, because you’re working for the King of Heaven. And you know what? God always smiles when He sees His children being faithful in the little things.
