Always Pray

2 Kings 19:19
“Now, Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You alone, Lord, are God.”

Hello, Truth Junior Friends! Have you ever felt scared before a school exam or when you had to speak in front of your class? Sometimes your heart beats fast, your hands get cold, and you just want to give up. That’s probably how King Hezekiah felt when a great enemy army came to attack Jerusalem. But instead of panicking, he prayed to God.

King Hezekiah knew that human strength is limited. The enemy’s army was huge, while Jerusalem’s army was small. But Hezekiah believed that God’s power was far greater than any enemy. Because of his prayer and faith, God answered in an amazing way—He protected Jerusalem from the attack!

Truth Junior Friends, Hezekiah teaches us that a true hero is not the one with a sword or a big army, but the one who prays and fully trusts in God. Prayer makes our hearts calm, and God always listens to the prayers of His children.

So, whenever you feel afraid, sad, or confused, don’t forget to pray! God is the true hero who is always ready to help and protect us every day. With God on our side, we don’t have to be afraid of anything!
