A Life That Reflects God
Colossians 3:17
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Hi, Rehobot Youth! Some people think that being “spiritual” means constantly talking about the Bible, actively serving in church, or participating in numerous spiritual activities. However, a spiritual life doesn’t end when the worship service concludes. In fact, our closeness to God is most clearly seen in how we live our daily lives—how we study, work, speak, treat others, and make every decision.
Paul reminds us that whatever we do—whether in word or deed—must be done in the name of the Lord Jesus. This means no part of our lives lies outside of Christ’s lordship. When we study honestly, work responsibly, honor our parents, keep our promises, or treat friends with love, we demonstrate that our relationship with God truly shapes the way we live.
Rehobot Youth, a life that reflects God is not built merely on biblical knowledge or ministry activities, but through a heart that remains constantly attached to Him. The closer we draw to God, the more Christ’s character becomes visible in our words, attitudes, and actions. People may not always hear us speak about Jesus, but they can see His love, integrity, humility, and faithfulness through the way we live our lives.
Therefore, Rehobot Youth, do not limit your spiritual life to Sundays or the time spent at church. Make every day an opportunity to reflect the character of Christ. As your relationship with God deepens, your life will become a powerful testimony. Wherever God places you, let your every word, decision and action glorify His name.
What To Do?
1. Do every responsibility wholeheartedly.
2. Show the character of Christ in everyday life.
3. Start every day with God.
