Today’s Devotional:
A Faithful Friend

“Titus is my partner and fellow worker among you…”
— 2 Corinthians 8:23

Have you ever felt like you’re just “ordinary”? Not as smart as your friends, not as brave as others, or not as noticeable as the people teachers or leaders always pay attention to? Sometimes the thought slips in: “Does my presence even matter?” But the truth is, in God’s eyes, there is no such thing as an “ordinary” child of God. Everyone is called with a purpose—including you.

Take Titus in the Bible. His name isn’t as famous as Peter or Paul, but his role was crucial. He was a trusted friend and ministry partner to Paul. When the church in Corinth was struggling and needed guidance, Paul sent Titus. And what happened? The church was strengthened and restored. Titus wasn’t the one on the big stage, but God used him powerfully.

Titus didn’t need the spotlight to make an impact. He was faithful, humble, and present when it mattered. Paul even called him a “partner and co-worker” in the work of God. From Titus, we learn that faithfulness matters more to God than flashy ministry. Sometimes God isn’t asking us to do huge things—He’s simply asking us to show up, listen, help, and be faithful in the small things.

So don’t underestimate your presence. The world might overlook you, but God never does. He sees every heart that’s willing to obey. Just like Titus, you can be a good friend—someone who brings peace, light, and the love of Christ wherever you go.

Just show up, be faithful, and let God handle the rest.

What to Do:
1. Pray that God helps you become a trustworthy and peace-bringing disciple like Titus.
