James 3:13
“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.”
Hi, Rehobot Youth! Social media has become a part of our daily lives. Through social media, we share stories, express opinions, interact with others, and even create a digital footprint that stays with us. Often without realizing it, what we post, comment on, and share becomes a reflection of our hearts. Therefore, social media reveals not only what we think but also who is shaping our lives.
James teaches that those who are truly wise demonstrate their wisdom through a good lifestyle and a gentle attitude. Wisdom is not merely about the extent of one’s knowledge, but about the character reflected in every action. This principle applies to the digital world as well. Our relationship with God should be evident in how we write comments, respond to differing opinions, share information, and treat others on social media.
Rehobot Youth, the digital world often pressures us to react quickly, seek attention, or speak without considering the consequences. Many people spread unverified information, make hurtful comments, or chase popularity at the expense of true values. However, when we live close to God, the Holy Spirit shapes our hearts to act with wisdom, gentleness, and love. Our closeness to Christ should be visible not only at church but also in every digital footprint we leave behind.
Therefore, Rehobot Youth, do not separate your spiritual life from your digital life. Let your personal relationship with God shape every post, comment, and response you share. Before hitting the “Post” button, ask yourself, “Does this reflect the character of Christ? Does it edify and glorify God?” When Christ is at the center of your life, every digital footprint you leave can become a testimony that brings light and blessing to many.
