Today’s reflection is titled:
Talents as Worship

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” – Romans 12:1

Rehobot Youth, have you ever thought that worshiping God doesn’t happen only when we are at church? Many people view worship as merely singing, praying, or attending a service. Yet, God desires our entire lives to be an act of worship to Him. When we live according to God’s will and use every opportunity to glorify Him, that is true worship.

Rehobot Youth, each of you possesses talents and hobbies uniquely given by God. Some are gifted in music, sports, design, writing, photography, technology, or other fields. These talents and hobbies are not just for personal enjoyment; they can also serve as a means to glorify God. When we earnestly develop our abilities, maintain our integrity, and positively influence others, we are turning those talents into a form of worship to God.

Furthermore, God has entrusted us with time. In today’s digital era, it is very easy to spend time without a clear purpose. Therefore, Rehobot Youth need to learn to manage time wisely. Using time to grow in the Lord, learn new things, serve others, and develop our potential is a form of devotion that pleases Him. God delights in seeing His children take responsibility for every opportunity given to them.

Come on, Rehobot Youth, let us start viewing worship not merely as a Sunday activity, but as an everyday lifestyle. Whether you are studying, creating, practicing, participating in organizations, pursuing hobbies, or using social media, do it all for the glory of God. In this way, the talents, hobbies, and time God has entrusted to you will not go to waste; instead, they become a living offering that pleases God’s heart and makes us wiser in how we live our lives.

What to Do?
• Recognize the talents and abilities God has entrusted to you.
• Use your hobbies and skills to make a positive impact on others.
• Carry out every activity with the motivation to glorify God, not merely to seek praise from people.
