Return to His Arms
The third time He said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.”

Hi, Rehobot Youth! Have you ever felt unworthy before God? Maybe there are mistakes, sins, or bad decisions in the past that still haunt you. Every time you remember it, a feeling of guilt arises that makes you think, “God must be disappointed in me. “Perhaps I’ve gone too far to turn back.”
Guilt can indeed be a sign that our hearts remain sensitive to sin. However, guilt becomes dangerous when it drives us away from God. We stop praying, become reluctant to approach Him, and begin to believe the lie that God no longer accepts us. Yet, it is precisely when we fall that God wants us to come to Him.
Peter experienced this very thing. He was a disciple who deeply loved Jesus, yet on the night Jesus was arrested, Peter denied Him three times. That failure surely left him with deep regret. But after His resurrection, Jesus came to meet Peter. Jesus did not condemn or humiliate him; instead, He restored him and entrusted him with ministry once again.
Through Peter’s story, we learn that failure is not the end of the story. God does not overlook sin, but He offers forgiveness to everyone willing to come to Him. God’s grace is always greater than human failure.
Rehobot Youth, do not let the past define your relationship with God today. Whatever has happened, the door to restoration remains open. God does not wait for you to become perfect first; He simply longs to see you return to His embrace with an honest heart that is willing to be transformed.
What to Do?
• Come to God honestly about your mistakes and struggles.
• Accept God’s forgiveness and stop living under the weight of excessive guilt.
• Trust that God can still restore and use your life for His glory.
