Be a Source of Positivity
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
Once God has helped us recognize our potential and live in holiness, there is one more important thing: becoming a source of positivity for those around us. The world today is full of people who are quick to anger, envious, critical, and spread negativity. But as children of God, we are called to bring light, not add to the darkness.
Sometimes simple things can have a big impact. A sincere smile, encouraging words, being willing to listen to a friend who is sad, or maintaining a positive attitude on social media can make others feel accepted and strengthened. God can use our lives to bring peace and joy in the midst of a stressful environment.
The potential and talents God has given us are not just for ourselves, but to be a blessing to others. When our hearts are right and our lives are close to God, our very presence can have a positive influence. Others may forget our words, but they will remember how we made them feel valued and loved.
Rehobot Youth, don’t just be talented—be a person who brings light and hope. Let God use your life to create an atmosphere full of love, peace, and joy wherever you are.
What to Do?
• Make it a habit to speak positively and encourage others.
• Use your talents and your presence to bring peace, not drama.
• Ask God to use your life to be a light to those around you.
