Strengthened When Hope Begins to Fade

Isaiah 42:3
A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;

Rehobot Youth, there are times when we are truly exhausted. We have tried many times, but failed again. The hope that was once great now feels small…even almost gone. At that point, the thought often arises: “I can’t do it anymore.” But that is precisely where God reveals His heart.

God doesn’t come to punish us when we are weak. He doesn’t break what is broken, and He doesn’t extinguish what is nearly extinguished. This means that when you feel most vulnerable—God is actually closest.

You don’t have to pretend to be strong before God. You can come with a weary heart, a short prayer, even tears. God doesn’t need performance—He wants honesty. And amazingly, in God’s hands, what’s almost extinguished can be rekindled. Not because we’re strong, but because He’s faithful.

So if you’re at a low point today, don’t walk away. Instead, draw closer. Because God still holds your life, even when you feel like giving up.

What To Do?
• Be honest with God about the weakest parts of your life.
• Take time to be still and allow God to heal your heart.
• Take one small step today—that’s enough.
