God in Your Story
Proverbs 3:5–6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Rehobot Youth, each of us has a story. There are happy moments, and there are also painful ones. But often we see life’s experiences as mere occurrences—without realizing that God is at work in them.
God doesn’t only speak through the Word or other people, but also through our personal experiences. Failure can be God’s way of teaching us to depend on Him. Success can be a reminder that everything comes from God. Even simple moments—conversations, opportunities, or small events—can be part of God’s way of guiding our steps.
The problem is, we often rush through experiences without reflecting on their meaning. Yet, that’s where God often “leaves traces.”
When we become more discerning, we’ll realize: God is never silent. He is guiding, shaping, and directing our lives through every process we experience. Your life isn’t just a series of events—it’s where God is at work.
What To Do?
• Take time to reflect on your experiences.
• Ask: “God, what are you teaching me through this?”
• Learn to see each process as part of God’s guidance.
