Today’s devotional is titled:
Faith That Makes an Impact
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
The faith God plants in our lives is not meant to be kept to ourselves. True faith is reflected through our attitudes, words, and daily actions. Jesus invites us to be a light—not through grand speeches, but through tangible deeds.
Being a light often starts with simple things. In the family, light is shown through respect, patience, and care. At school or campus, light is demonstrated through honesty, integrity, and how we treat others. In the workplace, light is expressed through responsibility, a strong work ethic, and attitudes that reflect Christ’s love.
A light does not need to be loud to be noticed. It only needs to faithfully be in its place and fulfill its purpose. When our faith is expressed through good deeds, others see God’s work in our lives, and His name is glorified.
What To Do:
1. Reflect on the area where God is calling you to be a light today.
2. Take one simple action that reflects your faith and Christ’s love.
3. Pray that your life may be used by God to bless many people.
