Living Right, I Still Believe Style
“How can a young person keep their way pure? By living according to Your word.”
📖 Psalm 119:9
The film “I Still Believe,” which tells the story of Jeremy Camp’s journey, has been a favorite for many young people. The story isn’t only about music, but about how Jeremy chose to live rightly and remain faithful to God even when he had to lose someone he loved. From this, we learn that the best way to thank God isn’t merely through words, but through the decision to keep walking according to His Word.
Living rightly isn’t always easy. Jeremy faced pain, loss, and big questions about faith. But he still chose to be grateful and obedient. This shows that true gratitude isn’t only when life feels beautiful, but also when we dare to say, “Lord, I still believe You are good.”
Rehobot Youth, we are often faced with a choice: follow the current of the world or keep living according to God’s Word. Living rightly means daring to be different—daring to be honest, daring to guard our hearts—even when people might say it’s “not cool.” But that’s exactly where we show our gratitude to God for the life He has given us.
In the end, living rightly becomes a powerful testimony. Just as Jeremy, through his music and life story, inspired many people, we too can be a blessing to those around us. Living rightly is the most real way to say “thank you” to God.
What to Do:
1. Choose one area of your life that needs to be straightened out according to God’s Word (for example: honesty, relationships, or discipline).
2. Don’t stop being grateful, even when circumstances are difficult.
3. Make living rightly a daily lifestyle, not just a temporary moment.
