Today’s devotional is titled:
When the Heart Is Truly Present

“This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.”
📖 Matthew 15:8

Rehobot Youth, God doesn’t only hear our words—He sees our hearts. We can do many spiritual things—attend worship, raise our hands during praise, even serve—but our hearts can still be distracted and elsewhere.

Today’s Word gently but clearly confronts us: worship without the heart is not what God desires. God longs for hearts that are present, not just bodies that show up.

When we live with gratitude, our hearts get involved. We come to God not because of a schedule, but because we realize that without Him, our lives are empty. Gratitude transforms spiritual habits into real encounters.

So today, don’t just go through the motions of faith. Bring your heart. Because God is always fully present for us.

What To Do:
1. When you pray or worship today, pause for a moment and engage your heart.
2. Confess to God if you’ve often come without truly being present.
3. Give thanks before spiritual activities so your heart is ready to respond.
