Today’s devotion is titled:
Giving Is Love
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
— Luke 6:38
Have you ever realized that when you give an offering at church, you’re actually helping others? Your offering might seem small, but in God’s hands, it can create an incredible impact. He can use it to bless children’s ministries, reach remote places, or help people who are in need.
God uses a willing heart to become a channel of His love and help. So every time you give, you’re taking part in God’s work to bring hope to others. Giving is not just about money—it’s an act of love that can change someone’s life.
Jesus Himself set the greatest example of giving love. He gave His life, not out of duty, but out of deep love for His friends. When we give with joy, we reflect the heart of Jesus—a heart that loves, gives sincerely, and delights in sharing.
When we give cheerfully, God can use our gifts for something far greater than we can imagine. Because in the end, every act of giving is an expression of love—and true love always leaves an impact.
What to Do:
1. Pray that every offering we give will be used to help many souls.
2. Start with the mindset that we give out of love, not obligation.
