More Than Money

“What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?”
— Mark 8:36

Many people think that giving offerings simply means giving money. But what God truly desires isn’t the content of our wallets—it’s the condition of our hearts. God doesn’t need our money, for everything on earth already belongs to Him. Yet He longs to see hearts that are willing, thankful, and obedient.

Giving isn’t about the amount—it’s about sacrifice and love. When we take time to help others, use our talents to serve in church, or offer care and prayer to someone who’s struggling, those acts become offerings that are precious before God.

True giving doesn’t start from the wallet—it starts from the heart. When we realize that everything we have comes from God, we give not out of obligation but out of love. Giving becomes our way of saying, “Lord, You are more important than what I own.”

God looks not at the size of our gift but at the sincerity behind it. To Him, a small offering given with love is worth more than a large one given without it. Because in the eyes of God, He doesn’t seek our money—He seeks our hearts fully devoted to Him.

What to Do:
1. Give thanks for the blessings God has given you.
2. Do one small act of kindness for those around you.
