Today’s devotion is titled:
Calm Moves, Focused Heart

“Train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things.”
— 1 Timothy 4:7–8

Greysia Polii is not only an Olympic champion—she’s also known for her humility, discipline, and strong faith. Behind her gold medal lies a simple lifestyle and a heart fully directed toward God.

Greysia didn’t just train her body; she also trained her spirit. She serves actively, guards her integrity, and isn’t blinded by fame. She understands that true victory isn’t about standing on the podium, but about building a character that pleases God.

In this Gen Z era, where everyone feels pressured to be visible and go viral, Greysia’s life reminds us that spiritual minimalism can still create great impact. She doesn’t live for the spotlight—she lives for God’s calling. And through her simplicity, true peace and strength of faith shine through.

God isn’t looking for who goes viral the fastest, but for those who stay faithful through the process. A spiritually minimalistic lifestyle like Greysia’s shows that simplicity isn’t weakness—it’s strength, when our hearts are fully focused on God.

What To Do:
1. Train Your Spiritual Discipline
Just like Greysia trains physically, you can start training spiritually try morning prayer, reading Scripture, or journaling. Start with just 5 minutes a day.
2. Write the Value You Want to Carry
In your journal or phone notes, write: “I want to be known as someone who…” and fill in a word like faithful, honest, or humble. Let that guide your day.
3. Don’t Be Afraid to Be Simple
If your lifestyle isn’t flashy, that’s okay. God cares more about your heart than your feed. Simplicity can be a spiritual stage.
