Trust God’s Promise
1 Kings 1:30
“I will surely carry out this very day what I swore to you by the Lord, the God of Israel: Solomon your son shall be king after me, and he will sit on my throne in my place.”
Truth Kids friends, have you ever prayed for someone you love—your mom, dad, siblings, or friends? Prayers like that are very precious in God’s eyes.
Bathsheba was a loving and faithful mother. She knew that God had a great plan for her son, Solomon. Even when the promise wasn’t yet visible, she didn’t stay silent. Calmly and wisely, Bathsheba went to King David to remind him of God’s promise. She didn’t get angry or force things, but she acted with faith and trust. Because of her courage, Solomon became king, just as God had planned.
Bathsheba became a hero of faith not because of her own strength, but because of her prayer, faith, and love as a mother.
Today we learn from Bathsheba: we too can become heroes of faith by praying for the people we love. God hears every prayer—even the prayers of children.
Come on, Truth Kids friends, let’s trust and pray with love!
