God’s Help
Ruth 4:14–15
“The women said to Naomi: ‘Praise be to the Lord, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel! He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. For your daughter-in-law, who loves you and who is better to you than seven sons, has given him birth.’”
Hi Truth Kids friends! Have you ever felt really sad? For example, when your favorite toy breaks, your close friend moves to another school, or you miss someone who is far away. It feels like nothing can make you happy again.
In today’s passage, we see a story full of hope. Naomi once experienced deep sorrow—she lost her husband and had to live in a foreign land. But God helped her. Through the marriage of Ruth and Boaz, a baby named Obed was born. Obed’s birth was a sign that God restored Naomi’s heart and gave her new joy. The people praised God because of the hope Naomi received.
Sometimes we also feel lonely or hopeless and ask, “Does God remember me?” Believe this—God never forgets. Just as He helped Naomi, He also loves and helps us, even in ways we might not expect.
So, when you feel sad or disappointed, remember Naomi’s story. God always has a beautiful plan and can bring comfort through family, friends, or surprises that bring new joy. So come on, Truth Kids friends, let’s keep praying and believing that God’s help always comes at the right time!
